Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using our services. By using RSTelecom services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the services provided by RSTelecom ("we," "us," or "our"), including but not limited to VoIP, Fiber Internet, Web Hosting, IT Support, and Digital Signage, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Service Provision & Availability

We strive to provide highly reliable services, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Service availability may be affected by factors outside our control, including but not limited to:

  • Network outages from upstream providers.
  • Scheduled maintenance (which we will communicate in advance when possible).
  • Force majeure events (natural disasters, power grid failures, etc.).

3. Acceptable Use & Fair Usage

You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes. You must not use our services to:

  • Transmit spam, unsolicited marketing, or illegal content.
  • Engage in fraudulent activities or impersonate others.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of our network.

Our VoIP services are subject to our Fair Usage Policy. Auto-dialers, call centers, and continuous automated calling are strictly prohibited on standard and unlimited business plans unless explicitly agreed upon in writing.

4. Billing and Payments

4.1 Fees: You agree to pay all charges associated with your selected services according to the pricing outlined in your service agreement or on our website.

4.2 Billing Cycle: Services are generally billed on a monthly recurring basis. Invoices are due upon receipt unless otherwise specified.

4.3 Late Payments: Failure to pay invoices on time may result in service suspension or termination. We reserve the right to charge late fees on overdue balances.

5. Term and Termination

5.1 Contract Term: Services may be provided on a month-to-month basis or under a fixed-term contract (e.g., 12 or 24 months), as specified during signup.

5.2 Cancellation: Month-to-month services require a 30-day written notice for cancellation. Fixed-term contracts may incur early termination fees if canceled before the term expires.

5.3 Termination by RSTelecom: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your services immediately and without notice if you violate these Terms of Service or engage in illegal activities.

6. Equipment

Any equipment provided by RSTelecom (such as routers, VoIP phones, or digital signage players) on a rental or loan basis remains the property of RSTelecom. You are responsible for the safe keeping of this equipment. Upon termination of service, all rented/loaned equipment must be returned in good working condition, or you will be billed for its replacement cost.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RSTelecom shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use or inability to use our services.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

We respect your privacy and handle your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws (such as POPIA in South Africa). We collect and process data only as necessary to provide our services, bill you, and communicate with you.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of any significant changes via email or by posting a notice on our website. Continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
